Dear Fellow Conservative, I'm reaching out to you today because I need your support to continue fighting in the U.S. House of Representatives against President Obama's big government agenda. A major development has just occurred in my race for the U.S. House of Representatives and I'm asking for your immediate help... ...You see, in retaliation for repeatedly standing up to President Obama on the national stage, liberal judges have redrawn the lines of my Minnesota Congressional District to try and wipe me off of the political map once and for all. Their bias was so obvious they even gerrymandered...

Freshman Republicans Switch from Tea to Kool Aid

This week the Club for Growth released a study of votes cast in 2011 by the 87 Republicans elected to the House in November 2010. The Club found that In many cases, the rhetoric of the so-called Tea Party freshmen simply didnt match their records. Particularly disconcerting is the fact that so many GOP newcomers cast votes against spending cuts. The study comes on the heels of three telling votes taken last week in the House that should have been slam-dunks for members who possess the slightest regard for limited government and free markets. Alas, only 26 of the 87...

Representative Steve Vaillancourt disgraces the New Hampshire House of Representatives
Posted by admin / Under House Of Pain (song)
Remember when New Hampshire Republican Steve Vaillancourt from Manchester defended the inappropriate comments made by Representative D.J. The highly emotional and erratic Republican lawmaker had to be physically removed from the state House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon after making a Nazi salute during a contentious debate about limiting what is considered valid voter identification....

Dem: House will ride on healthcareBy Mike Lillis and Bob Cusack - 05/16/12 05:00 AM ET A senior Democrat said Tuesday that the key to winning back the House in 2012 is selling the partys signature healthcare reform law. In an interview with The Hill, Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Democrats have a fighting chance of grabbing control of the lower chamber. He added, however, that Democrats cant run from [healthcare reform]. You have to go out and say, This is what we did and this is why we did it. And I think that you win like that. Democrats...

Should I buy this house? (vanity, but important to me!)

Hi, My Dad passed away a few years ago and my Mom, it has recently been determined, needs round the clock care so must go into a nursing home. My father's Grandmother, then single due to her husbands death, bought this home in 1902 (I have the original deed) after having to sell their farm and lived there, renting to boarders to make money. She later saved up to buy another home and rented out rooms there during the Depression, all on her own. When she passed away, each of her daughters were given a home, which they fixed up...
